I am fairly new to etoro but I have been studying forex for over a year now. I have researched hundreds of platforms and companies that provide forex. I chose eToro for various reasons. It is an easy site to operate and the spreads are competitive for the most part. Here is my biggest issue:

If you are a new trader to forex do not pay anyone for tips. You need to learn Forex. There are many free websites such as babypips.com that will help you learn. What happens if you pay someone for a tip and then all of a sudden you have a huge loss. Is he/she going to refund your money? I would say probably not. If anyone gives a tip in the chat take it as you will. I have followed a few tips and made on a few and lost on a few. I am not an expert and I am not willing to stand back and watch the new traders become alienated by paying for tips.

As everyone wil tell you Forex is risky. My tip for anyone new to trading is be patient and take the time to learn. There are many excellent traders on eToro who are willing to help you learn and will recommend sites to learn about trading.
