I am less than chuffed by the demo platform and if it resembles the real platform i am very worried. I have noted the bid ask price leads the market in both directions. I am using a real time chart package and the lead is significant. Thus in a falling market the sell price can be 7-8 pips ahead of he market and visa versa..... add that to the spread and one is at a disadvantage. I have also noted that evry now and again i will place a trade that is entered at significantly different from the price quoted .

Lastly does any one know whether etoro takes the other side of trades placed or are trades placed with the exchanges without an intermediary.

Is that the reason why you cannot execute a Buy Limit or Buy stop order?
