Alright, I've talked to online support twice and they suggested I contact support@etoro.com. I've done that both times and got no response.
Problem:
I've had, on several occasions, trades close for no reason. When the trades close, it says it's reached the stop loss limit (at the top of the screen) and when I look at the newly closed trade in the history, it says "Closed by User" in the close status column.
I can tell you that the trades were nowhere near the stop loss/take profit limits and all 10 trades I had set in the Trade Box were closed within 2 seconds. This cannot be done by human hands (there's a confirmation window that pops up which slows down the closing process when done by human hands).
I've had trades close this way when I'd just finished opening them and was in the middle of setting the limits!
Having the trades close on me is frustrating enough, not getting any sort of response or acknowledgment is even more frustrating. A simple note, "We've received your email and are looking into the problem" would have been nice. Maybe you can set up an auto responder to let people know when you've received an email from them?
This week, I've experimented on a few trades by setting no limits (other than the auto stop-loss limit) then changing the stop loss to over $4000.00 and setting a take profit limit to 13 pips. Whenever I set limits, it closes the trades automatically without hitting either limit.
This has been going on for 2 weeks....
Has anyone else had the same problem?
