If you have read any of my other posts on this forum you will know that I am a complete newbie - and even after 4 months around here I consider myself to be a newbie at forex.
However, I have begun to notice subtle changes which lead me to hope that I am developing as a trader. As outlined on another thread, I am considering a move from my comfort zone of scalping and day trading towards swing/trend trading. Only ten days ago such a change had never entered my head.
I’ve also noticed that I am methodically planning my trading activity - based upon the times that are good to trade for me (correlating my local time with the market times) - and based upon the strategies that I have been exploring and with which I am feeling increasingly comfortable.
I hesitate to suggest that this is golden key to gainful trades - but, as my ‘Pip Diary’ elsewhere on this forum shows, last week was more successful than previous weeks.
The shift from day trading to swing trading and the attempt to timetablethe times at which I trade also frees up time to get on with my other life - without adversely affecting my trading.
I have to say that I am still only trading for fun - my slightly increased confidence levels are not yet high enough to risk my real euros.
How methodical are you with your trading ?
Have a great trading week,
Julie the Newbie
